Last year we took care of Dion and Christen's dog Chaucer for the entire year while they were out of the country. We got so used to having a dog around that when it was time for her to go home, it felt weird. In all honesty, I'm probably the only one who truly missed her, but Silas is the one who asked if we could get a dog. So, after a few months of searching on Petfinder.com, we finally found a dog that seems perfect for our family.
She's a Schnauzer mixed with some kind of terrier. She's only about 15 pounds, but she's taller than she looks. She cuddles with us wherever we sit, doesn't bark, doesn't shed and is learning tricks very quickly. We feel very lucky to have her!
